When?

November 6/7

Where?

The Seelbach Hilton in Louisville, KY. If you call, make sure you mention you're a part of HRevolution to get the discount.

Schedule?

It will be on a Friday/Saturday. We're planning a Tweetup on Friday night. Saturday will be full of learning and collaboration.

Cost?

The cost is $50 per ticket. We are seeking sponsors, and any money generated over the necessary amount will go to a local charity (as this is a no-profit event). Attendees will be responsible for the cost of their own rooms, but meals on Saturday are included in the ticket fee.

While we envisioned a free event at first, there are several things to consider. All resources may not be acquired for free. Also, we want people to be rabid about this thing. It's much harder to be excited about something that you don't pay for. If you put in your money, you expect to get something back. And let me just say... You most certainly will.

As I believe, I'm only one of a few from the West Coast, I'm open to a location that is central for everyone and would luv a Southwest location if possible. After listening to the HR Happy Hour call today, I agree it's best to keep it as simple as possible and let it grow and gain momentum from there. It will be too hard trying to accomodate everyone's preference and I'm not sure if you will end up with a clear majority. The best way to keep it informal is to do just that - pick a date, provide hotel suggestions and if you have to meet in the Howard Johnson's rec room so be it - remember it's an "un" conference.

Looking at the map, it looks like I'm smack dab in the middle here in Louisville, KY. And we do have a Southwest hub. Could be fun here in Possibility City (http://www.possibilitycity.com/)

Is a hub for Continental. The far northern mid-West is hardly "central" most of the US tho. Might want to think of a city that has more access to Southwest airlines, lower fares
